LA RETE DI DONNE DEL MEDITERRANEO: UNIONE PER LA PACE E I DIRITTI
Il 9 e 10 maggio donne provenienti da Albania, Libano, Turchia, Italia e Libia si sono riunite a Siracusa, animate da un comune desiderio di cambiamento. per dare vita alla rete delle donne della Convenzione dei Diritti nel Mediterraneo.
Frutto delle attività del gruppo Ruolo centrale della donna, uno dei 12 gruppi di lavoro della Convenzione dei diritti nel Mediterraneo sottoscritta a Palermo nel 2022 da rappresentanti di associazioni e istituzioni di 19 Paesi mediterranei, questa rete nasce dalla volontà comune di costruire un Mediterraneo di pace, diritti e uguaglianza, ridefinendo la narrazione femminile attraverso le voci delle donne stesse.
Un’alleanza che segna una svolta nella cooperazione femminile mediterranea, in un momento storico in cui il silenzio non è più un'opzione.
Le partecipanti hanno scelto di unire le proprie voci e le proprie storie per testimoniare la libertà di scegliere, di narrarsi, di determinarsi, di esserci. A partire dalle radici comuni e da valori che trascendono ogni confine, chiedono un Mediterraneo rinnovato attraverso la solidarietà e l'emancipazione femminile, dando vita ad una rete capace di incidere profondamente sulle politiche e sulle pratiche sociali dell’area.
La prima giornata presso la Biblioteca Elio Vittorini è stata dedicata alla comunicazione non verbale e alla progettazione.
Sulla base dei principi condivisi, quali la costruzione della pace e del dialogo interculturale, l’affermazione dell’uguaglianza e dei diritti, la narrazione autentica e libera da stereotipi, la solidarietà senza frontiere, queste sono le proposte emerse dai gruppi di lavoro:
- il progetto di una Rete antiviolenza mediterranea, un organismo di protezione transnazionale che permetta alle donne di accedere a protezione e supporto, che faciliti anche lo scambio di pratiche efficaci e informazioni;
- ridefinizione della narrazione femminile, da restituire allo sguardo delle donne al di là di ogni pregiudizio culturale;
- riconoscimento del potere trasformativo delle arti e del dialogo interdisciplinare, come veicolo privilegiato di resistenza e autocoscienza, attraverso l’organizzazione di iniziative di comunità, di festival e interscambi culturali;
- istituzione di una Giornata delle donne mediterranee;
- creazione di una Biblioteca digitale del Mediterraneo che preservi la memoria collettiva femminile e sia strumento di conoscenza e riaffermazione;
- la promozione di banche del del tempo locali, come servizio di sollievo al carico femminile che favorisca l'accesso al mondo del lavoro e lo scambio di competenze;
- organizzazione di una staffetta che metta in condivisione strumenti e metodi efficaci per lo sviluppo sociale e il contrasto alla violenza e alle discriminazioni.
Nel corso della seconda giornata, presso l’Urban Center, è stata presentata alla città la Convenzione dei diritti nel Mediterraneo. Presenti le rappresentanti di realtà cittadine attive nella tutela dei diritti delle donne.
Particolarmente toccante è stata la proiezione del film Transborder Rape (Stupro transfrontaliero) della rete Observatory of Gender in Crisis, che ha restituito a un pubblico profondamente turbato l’urgenza di rompere i silenzi e le connivenze, nel rispetto dei diritti umani universali.
L’iniziativa - realizzata con il sostegno della Regione siciliana, Assessorato della famiglia, delle politiche sociali e del lavoro, ed i patrocini del Libero consorzio e del Comune di Siracusa, e curata in particolare dal Cantiere Archimedeo dell'associazione Un'altra storia - si inquadra tra le iniziative organizzate per diffondere i valori della Convenzione dei diritti nel Mediterraneo.
RÉSEAU DES FEMMES MÉDITERRANÉENNES : UNION POUR LA PAIX ET LES DROITS
Les 9 et 10 mai, des femmes d’Albanie, du Liban, de Turquie, d’Italie et de Libye se sont réunies à Syracuse, animées par un désir commun de changement. donner vie au réseau des femmes de la Convention des droits de la Méditerranée.
Fruit des activités du groupe Rôle Central des Femmes, l'un des 12 groupes de travail de la Convention sur les Droits de la Méditerranée signée à Palerme en 2022 par des représentants d'associations et d'institutions de 19 pays méditerranéens, ce réseau est né de la volonté commune de construire une Méditerranée de paix, de droits et d'égalité, en redéfinissant le récit féminin à travers la voix des femmes elles-mêmes.
Une alliance qui marque un tournant dans la coopération des femmes méditerranéennes, à un moment historique où le silence n’est plus une option.
Les participants ont choisi d’unir leurs voix et leurs histoires pour témoigner de la liberté de choisir, de se raconter, de se déterminer, d’être là. Partant de racines et de valeurs communes qui transcendent toutes les frontières, elles demandent une Méditerranée renouvelée à travers la solidarité et l'émancipation des femmes, donnant vie à un réseau capable d'impacter profondément les politiques et les pratiques sociales du territoire.
La première journée à la bibliothèque Elio Vittorini a été consacrée à la communication non verbale et à la planification.
Sur la base de principes partagés, tels que la construction de la paix et du dialogue interculturel, l’affirmation de l’égalité et des droits, une narration authentique et sans stéréotypes, une solidarité sans frontières, voici les propositions qui ont émergé des groupes de travail :
- le projet d’un Réseau méditerranéen de lutte contre la violence, un organisme de protection transnational qui permet aux femmes d’accéder à la protection et au soutien, et qui facilite également l’échange de pratiques et d’informations efficaces ;
- redéfinition du récit féminin, à remettre au regard des femmes au-delà de tout préjugé culturel ;
- la reconnaissance du pouvoir transformateur des arts et du dialogue interdisciplinaire, comme véhicule privilégié de résistance et de conscience de soi, à travers l’organisation d’initiatives communautaires, de festivals et d’échanges culturels ;
- l’instauration d’une Journée de la Femme Méditerranéenne ;
- création d’une bibliothèque numérique de la Méditerranée qui préserve la mémoire collective féminine et constitue un outil de connaissance et de réaffirmation ;
- la promotion des banques de temps locales, en tant que service d’allègement de la charge des femmes qui favorise l’accès au monde du travail et l’échange de compétences ;
- organisation d'un relais de partage d'outils et de méthodes efficaces de développement social et de lutte contre les violences et les discriminations.
Au cours de la deuxième journée, au Centre Urbain, la Convention relative aux droits de l’homme en Méditerranée a été présentée à la ville. Des représentants d'organisations locales actives dans la protection des droits des femmes étaient présents.
La projection du film Transborder Rape par le réseau Observatory of Gender in Crisis a été particulièrement touchante, rappelant à un public profondément troublé l’urgence de briser les silences et les connivences, tout en respectant les droits humains universels.
L'initiative - réalisée avec le soutien de la Région Sicilienne, Département de la Famille, des Politiques Sociales et du Travail, et le patronage du consortium Libero et de la Municipalité de Syracuse, et organisée notamment par le Cantiere Archimedeo de l'association Un'altra storia - fait partie des initiatives organisées pour diffuser les valeurs de la Convention des Droits de l'Homme en Méditerranée.
THE MEDITERRANEAN WOMEN'S NETWORK: UNITED FOR PEACE AND RIGHTS
On May 9 and 10, women from Albania, Lebanon, Turkey, Italy and Libya gathered in Syracuse, driven by a common desire for change. to give life to the women's network of the Convention on Human Rights in the Mediterranean.
The result of the activities of the Central Role of Women group, one of the 12 working groups of the Convention on Human Rights in the Mediterranean signed in Palermo in 2022 by representatives of associations and institutions from 19 Mediterranean countries, this network was born from the common desire to build a Mediterranean of peace, rights and equality, redefining the female narrative through the voices of women themselves.
An alliance that marks a turning point in Mediterranean women's cooperation, at a time in history when silence is no longer an option.
The participants chose to unite their voices and their stories to bear witness to the freedom to choose, to tell one's story, to determine oneself, to be there. Starting from common roots and values that transcend all borders, they ask for a renewed Mediterranean through solidarity and women's emancipation, giving life to a network capable of having a profound impact on the policies and social practices of the area.
The first day at the Elio Vittorini Library was dedicated to non-verbal communication and planning.
On the basis of shared principles, such as building peace and intercultural dialogue, affirming equality and rights, authentic narration free from stereotypes, solidarity without borders, these are the proposals that emerged from the working groups:
- the project of a Mediterranean Anti-Violence Network, a transnational protection body that allows women to access protection and support, which also facilitates the exchange of effective practices and information;
- redefinition of the female narrative, to be returned to the gaze of women beyond any cultural prejudice;
- recognition of the transformative power of the arts and interdisciplinary dialogue, as a privileged vehicle of resistance and self-awareness, through the organization of community initiatives, festivals and cultural exchanges;
- establishment of a Mediterranean Women's Day;
- creation of a Mediterranean Digital Library that preserves the collective female memory and is a tool for knowledge and reaffirmation;
- promotion of local time banks, as a service to relieve the burden of women that promotes access to the world of work and the exchange of skills;
- organization of a relay race that shares effective tools and methods for social development and the fight against violence and discrimination.
During the second day, at the Urban Center, the Convention on Rights in the Mediterranean was presented to the city. Representatives of city entities active in the protection of women's rights were present.
Particularly touching was the screening of the film Transborder Rape by the Observatory of Gender in Crisis network, which brought back to a deeply troubled audience the urgency of breaking silences and connivances, in compliance with universal human rights.
The initiative - carried out with the support of the Sicilian Region, Department of Family, Social Policies and Labor, and the patronage of the Libero consortium and the Municipality of Syracuse, and curated in particular by the Cantiere Archimedeo of the association Un'altra storia - is part of the initiatives organized to spread the values of the Convention on Human Rights in the Mediterranean.

كان اليوم الأول في مكتبة إيليو فيتوريني مخصصًا للتواصل غير اللفظي والتخطيط.
وعلى أساس المبادئ المشتركة، مثل بناء السلام والحوار بين الثقافات، والتأكيد على المساواة والحقوق، والسرد الأصيل والخالي من الصور النمطية، والتضامن بلا حدود، كانت هذه هي المقترحات التي خرجت بها مجموعات العمل:

- الاعتراف بالقوة التحويلية للفنون والحوار بين التخصصات، كوسيلة مميزة للمقاومة والوعي الذاتي، من خلال تنظيم المبادرات المجتمعية والمهرجانات والتبادلات الثقافية؛
- إنشاء يوم للمرأة المتوسطية؛
- إنشاء مكتبة رقمية للبحر الأبيض المتوسط تحافظ على الذاكرة الجماعية النسائية وتشكل أداة للمعرفة والتأكيد؛
- تعزيز بنوك الوقت المحلية، كخدمة لتخفيف العبء عن كاهل المرأة وتشجيع الوصول إلى عالم العمل وتبادل المهارات؛
- تنظيم رحلة لتبادل الأدوات والأساليب الفعالة للتنمية الاجتماعية ومكافحة العنف والتمييز.
وفي اليوم الثاني، تم في المركز الحضري تقديم اتفاقية حقوق الإنسان في البحر الأبيض المتوسط للمدينة. وكان حاضرا ممثلون عن المنظمات المحلية الناشطة في مجال حماية حقوق المرأة.
وكان مؤثراً بشكل خاص عرض فيلم "الاغتصاب عبر الحدود" الذي قدمته شبكة مرصد النوع الاجتماعي في الأزمات، والذي أعاد إلى أذهان جمهور مضطرب للغاية أهمية كسر الصمت والتواطؤ، مع احترام حقوق الإنسان العالمية.
